Honor Flight fundraiser
American Legion Tony Stein Post 619 (the Biggest little Post in Dayton) did it again. A benefit was held on January 5th for the Honor Flight Network. As you know the Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created to honor America's veterans. They fly our heroes to Washington DC to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to senior veterans World War II veterans along with those veterans from Korea and Vietnam that are terminally ill. Most importantly, they travel absolutely free. Post 619 held an auction, bake sale, raffles and an all you can eat buffet to raise $2,200 for Honor Flight.
