2008 Mid-Winter Conference Highlights

Johnson Motor Sports, driver visit Mid-Winter

Thank you to everyone who made the Mid-Winter Conference a success.

National Commander Marty Conatser brought greetings and took time to visit each meeting and spend some time one-on-one with Legionnaires.

On Saturday Past National Commander John Brieden gave an excellent seminar on leadership with a record number in attendance.

Americanism and Child & Youth Deputy Director Bill Pease also attended. Bill visited some of the committee meetings, and brought greetings at the conference on Sunday.

Team Johnson Motor Sports were in attendance with our very own driver Jerick Johnson. Jerick and his cousin Adam drove into Columbus from North Carolina in the replica race car that was given away on February 17th. Jerick had a table of the many items available to purchase to help support the racecar team. You can further view those items at www.emblem.legion.org.

Committee meetings, different display tables on the many American Legion programs offered and the Charities Inc. drawing finished out the weekend conference.
