POW/MIA Committee selects winning pin design for 2012-13

At the Mid-Winter meeting on January 21, 2012, the Department POW/MIA Committee selected the winning pin design for 2012-13 membership year.

Acting Chairman Department 2nd Vice Comman-der Jeff Kauffman noted that after deducting the cost of the pins, 100 percent of the funds collected will be given to an American Legion program or the National League of Family Services voted on by the Committee.

Current POW/MIA pins are available from any of the Committee's 14 members, or contact Director McGowan at Department Headquarters. A donation of $5 or more is requested.

Ruth Schutz, of Van Wert Auxiliary Unit 178, won the pin design contest for her entry for the 2012-13 year.
